Postpartum Must Haves
i am a month out from having my baby boy. I thought I would round up my must have items for after having a baby. Some of these items are new to me and others I used when I had my little girl Rider Monroe. I hope these items help other Mommas out after having their babies!
Nursing Gowns
These are some my favorite nursing gowns to wear while i am breastfeeding. The buttons make them functional and the material is so soft! These are also great even if you aren’t nursing.

Nursing Bras
I wore these same bras with Rider Monroe and like that they are wireless which makes them very comfortable.
You will definitely want to take these to the hospital with you when you go they are way better than the paper thin panties and giant pads they have there for you.
These Tucks pads are miracle workers! Just line your Always discreet panties with these cooling pads and it’s a game changer! The hospital where I delivered at also supplied these to use..
Breast Pumping
I chose to get the Medela Pump in style breast pump when I was pregnant with Rider Monroe, and it has held up well and I am continuing to use it now. It has enough suction and I like that its in a bag which makes it easy to travel with.
These are some of my must have items for breastfeeding and pumping.
i use these pads inside my nursing bra to help with leaking. They are thin and lay flat in my bra.
I switched out the valves that came with the Medela for these duck bill valves. These are easier to clean than the Medela ones and I also feel like it is helping my production too.
As far as milk storage bags I always just buy the cheapest ones because I go through so many. Heres a milk storage tip: when storing you milk bags in the freezer lay them down flat, that way the milk will freeze flat and it makes it easier to store and they will thaw out quicker.
