Baby Must Haves

There are SO many baby items and gadgets out now that it is so hard to decide what to add to your baby registry and what you will really need when the baby arrives. Here's some of my favorite baby items that we used with Rider Monroe and plan to use with baby boy when he arrives.

Bella Tunno Products

These are some of my favorite products I received when I was pregnant with Rider Monroe. She still uses them now and she’s two! I love all the cute and quirky sayings that their products have on them.

Plus side is the bowls and plates suction to their highchair so it keeps them from knocking them over. Oh, I forgot to mention the best part is that all these products are dishwasher safe! Winning!

DocATot

This product was a must for us, they are pricey, ranging from $175-195 but are totally worth it in my opinion. The DocATot was easy to take when we were going to my parents house or traveling somewhere overnight.

We would place the DocATot in her Halo bassinet at night for her to sleep and then we put it in her crib when we transitioned her. We liked the DocATot so much that when she outgrew it we bought the DocATot Grand, and she still sleeps in it at age two!

The cover zips off the DocATot making it machine washable.

Ingenuity Seat

This seat was one of the most used items we got from our registry. This was great for us because we would sit the seat on our island and be able to feed her and eat our meals as well. I also would sit her in this seat when I would cook and she would be content with her toys.

Rider Monroe sat in this seat way more than she ever sat in her high chair. This seat has straps for you to strap baby in and also a tray to keep them extra secure. There are also straps where you can secure this seat to a bar stool or dining chair.

Baby Shusher

This has probably been one of my most talked about and recommended baby items. I tell all of my expecting friends to add this to their registry. We kept this attached to the car seat and used it in the car when driving or when we were out shopping or in a restaurant.

This shusher is different than most because it actually uses a human voice to make the shushing sound. The shusher has adjustable volume and you can set a 15 or 30 minute timer! This makes a great baby shower gift!

Boppy Pillow

This pillow is a mom must have! I used this pillow to nurse and also if someone was feeding Rider Monroe a bottle they would use it to prop their arm up. This pillow can also be used to prop baby up, for tummy time and to help them sit when they are ready.

The cover and the pillow insert are both machine washable, because we all know messes happen and it's so much easier when you can just throw it in the washer. We’ve had the pillow for two years and it's still in great shape, I’m just going to get a new cover for it when baby boy arrives.

Copper Pearl Burp Cloths

First off these are 100% cotton so you know our household is all for them! The cotton makes them super soft. These are 21 x 10 so they are really good size. I attached pictures of the jewel tone ones but they come in a lot of different colors and prints. Also, they have bandana bibs to match! A 3 pack of these are $19!

Sound Machines

We got the Homedic sound machine for a gift when I was pregnant with Rider Monroe. This has been another gift that has been used everyday and night since she was born. It has 6 soothing sounds, we choose to use the white noise option. Also has a 15, 30 or 60 minute timer but we choose to let it run all night and the entire time during her naps. This sound machine also works using AA batteries if you don't have an outlet to use.

Sound Machine

The Hatch Baby Rest Sound Machine wasn’t out when I had Rider Monroe but I have heard great things about it. I plan on purchasing this for baby boy.

It's a sound machine and a night light that can be controlled from your phone! This machine has a feature called time to rise which you can set the time and color of the light when it's okay for your toddler to get out of bed. This one is $59 which is more expensive than the Homedics one.
